Die Performance Besuch greift das Motiv des Staatsbesuch auf. Die Exponate der Ausstellung bilden jeweils eine der Protokollstationen, repräsentieren künstlerische Positionen des Atelierhauses PostOst. Die Botschafterin der Kunsthalle M3, Anette Hollywood, nimmt die Protokollstationen - flankiert und gerahmt von Reden der PostOst Delegation - in Anwesenheit von Gästen ab.

The Visit

with Alexander Callsen & AbBA

The Visit takes up the notion of a state visit and reframes it as an exchange of artistical positions. Here, it is staged as a cermonial visit of the evicted studio house PostOst to the still existing studio house Mengerzeile. Mengerzeile's showroom M3 (now demolished by the new owner) displayed art works from the artists of PostOst, treated as diplomatic protocol stations. Jöns/Callsen prepared short speeches directed at Anette Hollywood, who serves as an amabassador for Mengerzeile's M3 gallery.
